The GradesUp platform has a user-friendly interface and requires low bandwidth – it simply makes the work of creating surprise tests and mock exams more convenient.  All you have to do is download the app and enter your login details – you are then redirected to your school’s dashboard.

Here’s the process simplified for you

  1. Teachers create questions in the MCQ format, using the GradesUp platform. They can edit, modify, and change questions as many times as they want.
  2. Once they have completed creating questions, the test can be saved for later (to be administered as per the examination routine).
  3. Tests are to be accessed by entering individual login details.
  4. An automated grading system is integrated into the app, so the right or wrong answer is marked right away.
  5. Results are published accordingly.

Remember, MCQs are graded and scored objectively – answers are either correct or not, so there is no moderation or review. It is simpler to provide feedback that can help improve the student’s performance. MCQs allow implementation of a more standardized format, when it comes to comparing performances of students in different sections of the same school, or across other schools. Thus, they are helpful in benchmarking student achievement.
