Anjana Mallick was the principal of the Junior Section of Bidya Bharati School from 1988 to 2019, where she passionately fulfilled her objective of educating “first generation learners”. She has also worked to ensure a better life for the underprivileged and challenged children of the society, by advocating for inclusion in schools. This avid educator has even edited numerous books for children, while penning a history book for classes 3 to 5, in 2015. At present, she is the Chief Academic Advisor at Spell-A-Thon Olympiads and Member of the Governing Body & Managing Committee of Bidya Bharati School.
The enigmatic Founder & Director of Spell-A-Thon Olympiads is a Goldman Sachs Scholar, with several feathers in her cap. She was the force behind the introduction of the Abacus and Brain Gym concept in West Bengal in January 2005, before launching her very own education venture MYCOOLQ.COM in 2012. The goal is to ensure that every child is given an opportunity to explore their potential, which is fulfilled via stimulating and engaging competitions that help to develop communication skills too. She also has experience in the corporate world after working with the likes of Lintas, Citibank NA, and other organizations. She is a firm believer of financial literacy, and has proved that there is no end to gaining knowledge, as she continues to pursue her academic studies to qualify as a Certified Independent Director.
