NANDINI MUKHERJEE

Nandini Mukherjee has come on board as Chief Mentor and English Language Expert, to guide us through creating specific educational programs, develop and fine-tune curriculum, conduct workshops, and lead our academic team. Her valuable insights and strategic direction will go a long a way in fostering a culture of excellence and innovation, while ensuring consistent improvement.

Her deep understanding of the English Language and its pedagogical nuances align perfectly with our mission to enhance educational outcomes that  support our product growth.

She is an alumna of Loreto House, Lady Brabourne College (English Honours) and Jadavpur University, from where she completed her M.A. and M. Phil in Comparative Literature. In 2006, she trained in teaching English as a Foreign and Second Language from Hamline University, Minnesota, as part of a US – India Teachers Exchange Programme.

Ms. Mukherjee joined Calcutta International School as Senior English Teacher in 1993 and served as Head of English since 2003, supervising the department, starting from K-12, including Drama and ESL. She retired as the Senior Principal of the school in 2013. From 2014 to 2024, she served as Dean of Students at Garden High International School, Kolkata.

Apart from being actively engaged in school education, Nandini Mukherjee has also been associated with reputed colleges in Kolkata. She has been teaching in the Department of Communicative English at St. Xavier’s College since 2009. She has also lectured in Communication in the Department of Museology, Calcutta University, from 2011 – 2012 and directed a programme in Academic Writing and Communication at Presidency University from 2015 -2018.

Presently, she is the Faculty and Course-coordinator of the Department of Communicative English, St. Xavier’s College, Park Street Campus. Besides teaching and administration, Nandini Mukherjee has conducted ELT workshops, seminars and training sessions with different organizations in Kolkata and in the neighbouring states.

Her special academic interests are designing English Language curricula for specific purposes, content development for language programmes and special writing projects. Her other interests include a passion for travel and tackling environmental issues with emphasis on wildlife preservation and eco-system conservation.
